PROJECTS
Design Automation TrainingAs well as offering software development services, we empower our clients by providing customised training to engineers in Automation Techniques. In a recent case-study we trained approximately 100 engineers from one of NZ's leading structural engineering firms in advanced Excel and VBA. | Design Process Automation- Hong Kong - Developed automated procedures for a Hong Kong based client related to: - Steel connection design to Hong Kong, EU and British Standards - Assessment of construction sequence effects in large scale steel structures - Performance assessment of complex 3D steel joints using Finite Element Analysis. | Seismic Assessments- New Zealand - Following the Canterbury Earthqaukes of 2010 and 2011, Audesys has been heavily involved in seismic assessment and development of retrofit schemes for a wide range of existing buildings in Christchurch and throughout New Zealand. We are specialists in leveraging linear static, modal, nonlinear pushover and nonlinear time history analysis techniques for performance based seismic assessment of structures based on local and international best practice. |

Facade Design Software- Australia & NZ - For an Australasian client, we developed tools to automate the design of Aluminium glazed building facades. | Finite Element Analysis- Hong Kong - Design of significant portions of the primary steel roof structure for a USD$1.8Billion project in Hong Kong, including scheme design and use of Finite Element Analysis to verify performance of complex 3D joint components. | Conceptual Software Platform- California, US - In partnership with a San Francisco based software start-up, we carried out the conceptual design of a unified cloud-based software platform for authoring Structural Engineering workflows. |
Displacement Based Design- New Zealand - For a New Zealand based client, we designed and developed software for automating a displacement based design solution for warehouse racking design for seismic loads. |
